Paint correction IN DFW
Paint Correction involves a very intense process which removes defects and imperfections in the paintwork such as swirls, scratches, oxidation, water spots, and etching from bird droppings. This is done by re-leveling the paintwork using various methods, tools, and multiple grades of cutting compounds and polishes.
Removing such imperfections safely and effectively takes a great deal of skill and knowledge as most clear coats today are thinner than a post-it note! This is why I always use the least aggressive pads and polishes first to achieve the best results without damaging your paint.
Before any paint correction I inspect the paintwork before and during the process to ensure there is sufficient amount of paint by using a Paint thickness gauge. These measurements can also tell me whether the vehicle has had any paint repairs in the past.
